After careers in law and architecture, I have had the good fortune to be
able to take sufficient time in my retirement to explore other latent interests of mine in writing, music and art.
I resided in Niagara Falls Ont. for much of my life, and practiced law there.
In mid-life, I moved to Vancouver, B.C. to study architecture, and ended up staying on
the west coast of Canada. After several years of practicing architecture, I
am now retired and reside in White Rock, a suburb of Vancouver, located just north of the international border.

Music has been a life long hobby for me, but since retirement I have had rather more time
to devote to my music, and particularly to the theatre organ.
For a number of years now
I have been giving concerts at the Mount Baker Theatre in Bellingham, WA, both in solo performance and with a
talented musical partner, Ms Dorothy Watson. |

Painting has also been a keen interest
of mine over the years of my retirement. I have had the good fortune to
take art lessons from many fine instructors. Some artists attempt to
give a deep philosophical meaning to their art. For me, I love creating
works of art that are beautiful to me. You can view my paintings

Writing has come to me somewhat later
in life. My first book was written some ten or twelve years ago,
and was a commentary on our society as I observed it at that time.
For many years I have been a Futurist, and my first book which was entitled 'There’s More
To Life Than The Bottom Line'was a commentary on what
I saw as a society highly focused on money and ever expanding
profits. My second book 'Beyond the
Crash! Building an Economic & Ecological Democracy' is
likewise a commentary on society, but with more emphasis on creating a
society after the crash that would work for people and as well the
planet. After experiencing many years of a society rushing madly for
ever increasing profits while ignoring the pressing needs of people and
the planet, I decided to write this book. I have been fortunate to
receive positive endorsements for my book from many persons whom I
regard as having great knowledge in this area.
